Blurred image of guide fingers in action
Ultimaker TPU 95a material turned into a consumable finger on an Ultimaker Factor 4. Through several iterations of design change including color changes due to
3D printing allows for the creation of shapes that would be nearly impossible to make with CNC machining. Since 3D printers build objects layer by layer, they can handle intricate internal structures, undercuts, and freeform shapes without the need for specialized tooling. This includes things like organic shapes, lattice structures, and geometries with internal channels or cavities.
We believe in delivering exceptional value to our customers, providing high-quality products at competitive prices. Our commitment to cost-effective manufacturing solutions means that you can trust us to deliver the best possible value for your investment.
3D Printing has taken drastic steps to ease production, whether you need a single part or a large-scale production run. Our highly adaptable manufacturing process allows us to quickly adjust to changing requirements and deliver products on time and within budget. This is also Completely Scalable. 3D printers have a relatively small footprint and can run continuously.
We are on the leading edge of additive manufacturing technology. We now have access to PPS CF, through Ultimaker, on our Factor 4 machine. PPS CF is a Carbon Fiber Composite, Yes you are reading that correctly.. it is very strong and very light and will make whatever component your looking for impressive. being able to reproduce perfect Carbon Fiber Parts is a feat we are proud to have in our first year of business. Also PPS CF provides an added layer of safety and reliability as it is UL94 V0 standard for flame
retardancy.
Precision is essential in additive manufacturing, and we take it seriously. At Open Source Solutions, we strive for perfection in every aspect. Our commitment to customers is to fully understand and clarify all measurements, material specifications, and the part's functional operation before offering any solutions.
We believe that comprehensive testing is crucial to ensuring the highest quality. We utilize various testing methods, including environmental and stress testing, to verify product performance and durability
We are committed to continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to optimize our manufacturing processes and enhance product quality. Our team is dedicated to staying at the forefront of technology and manufacturing advancements to ensure we deliver the highest quality results.
We have access to over 150 types of materials, specializing primarily in TPU 95A and PPS CF. We also offer food-safe materials such as PLA and PETG (with optional carbon fiber), as well as ABS, ceramics, and wood. Additionally, we now have the capability to sinter metal parts, though this process currently involves a third-party and a lead time.
As the owner of Open Source Solutions is a proud Navy Veteran, we are committed to enhancing the effectiveness and defense readiness of our nation's warfighters. As an SDVOSB, we are always seeking opportunities to integrate our products to support this mission. Please feel free to reach out—we are here to serve and support, because
